Lyndsey’s Aunt and Uncle listened to Lyndsey. They believed her, but would not let her travel to Fletrook by herself. They put a call into the local police department, but never heard back.      
     Lyndsey lived the rest of her life consumed with regret that she didn’t try harder to find her beloved dog.
